Good quality compost is the key to successful gardening. This workshop explores the principles of composting, techniques, materials used and how they can be used most effectively, worm farms, liquid composts and mulching.











BIO- DYNAMIC AGRICULTURE


Bring your garden to life.

A workshop  to introduce the practical concepts of the biodynamic methods to farmers and gardeners.

The Bio -Dynamic method is a modern organic method that creates a holistic approach to building healthy soil, plants animals and humans.

The course covers history, concept of a living organism, soils, compost, special preparations that enhance nature and equipment required.

WEAVING MAGIC ,NATURALLY

WEAVE SOME MAGIC
A series of workshops to introduce you to the plants and some of the many different basketry techniques.


Introduction to simple basketry techniques
A 2 day workshop to discover the simple pleasure of weaving some magic from common plants in your garden or neighborhood. Discover suitable materials,-how to collect and store, Create with the various techniques such as string making, tension trays, looping, interlacing and adding basketry techniques to your garden.

Rib baskets Workshop
A 2 day workshop. To introduce you to the joy of creating a rib basket. Rib baskets are well suited to being created from materials available from your garden or neighborhood. Rib baskets are also very versatile in functions and form.

UBD 157:G7. Exit from SE Freeway at Stirling, turn right at roundabout and; travel 3.5 km.

The courses are practical, ‘hands on’ conducted by experienced biodynamic/organic farmers, Deb and Quentin. Their successful small holding has been run under BIO-DYNAMIC principles since 1983.
The 4.5 ha property provides the ideal classroom filled with practical examples of how goals can be achieved & gives inspiration into this GARDEN QUALITY FARMING to both gardeners & farmers alike.
